Q. Is it possible to pay by cheque or as cash deposit directly into First Cleaning Solutions` bank account, without being tied by Standing Order?
A. Yes, it is possible, but because it takes time for us to process these type of payments, we will charge you an extra £10 administration fee. We do not use Direct Debit as it is in some situations more costly and stressfully for you then using Standing Order.
Q. How long it will take you to find me a domestic cleaner?
A. This is depending on your area. If we have an available domestic cleaner near your post code (address), then it is a matter of a day to confirm this, if not, it will take a maximum 2 weeks. Of course, only if you accept to wait for First Cleaning Solutions to search a domestic cleaner suitable for you.
Q. Do I still need to pay my monthly fee, whilst your domestic cleaner replacement /cover will come to my home?
A. As we do our best to find for you a suitable and quickly cover for your domestic cleaner, no matter what circumstances arisen to be in need for replacement, yes, you will still have to pay the monthly fee. If, unfortunately, First Cleaning Solutions won’t be able to find a quickly replacement in accordance with our maximum 2 weeks target to allocate a domestic cleaner, we will cease to take any further payments from you.
Q. How do you check your domestic cleaners?
A. First of all we check their entire relevant ID, especially their legally status to work in UK. Then, we ask for CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) Form (only if required so by the Client). And we check as well their relevant experience and their references. The next step, we will have a comprehensive interview about all personal aspects, about their qualifications and past jobs, especially about their experience in cleaning area. Only if they past these stages, we can approve them to be included in the company’s database.
Q. Do you have a minimum numbers of hours?
A. Yes we do have. For instance, for weekly regular domestic cleaning, the minimum is 2 hours. For “one-off” domestic cleaning, the minimum is 4 hours, and for “one-off” monthly regular domestic cleaning is also 4 hours.
Q. Do I have to supply cleaning materials and cleaning equipment?
A. Yes, you do have to supply adequate chemicals and equipment to your dedicated domestic cleaner as it is cost efficient for you, for us, and for cleaner. Also, from our experience, an important fact is that often most of the clients know better which certain items in their home needs to be cleaned with particular specialised cleaning products.
Q. Will I have a contract with First Cleaning Solutions?
A. Of course. From start, the contract is for one month period followed by a rolling basis. So, there is no pressure on you from First Cleaning Solutions to be tied from beginning to a minimum contract of 3 months, or 6 months, or 12 months etc.
NOTE 1: From time to time, First Cleaning Solutions will get in touch with its clients in order to verify if everything is working well. It is good to have a good communication between you and us, to avoid any misunderstandings or to avoid any early stages of potential problems.
NOTE 2: We do not use products which contain bleach, because it is a dangerous substance and for Health and Safety reasons and because our insurance doesn’t cover this type of usage, please ensure that you or your cleaner will not use it. If misused, can damage and harm.
